It was the 2nd annual teddy bear toss, where you bring a teddy bear and throw it out onto the ice after we make our first goal. I think there were like 5,000 bears on the ice at one point. They just started flying out there in giant waves and waves. They managed to completely fill the back (and cabs) of 2 trucks, as well has a half dozen 55 gallon garbage bags full. Going to be some happy kids out there.
The Franchise got its very first hat trick (three goals by 1 player in the same game). I found this out as Tiffany ripped my thunder hat off of my head and threw it onto the ice. Another handful of hats followed. Now i’m hatless.
