Handloading Ammunition

All of this reloading information is on individual pages as well. This just lumps it all together for completeness sake. I’ll also be posting my reloading setup/images as well.

    Blah.

Off to the rifle range to sight in my .270. Yanno, only waited until the last min or so. Ugh, so dont wanna go. Its not that the rifle has a huge amount of recoil, but the muzzle break on the end makes it /so/ loud and directs the shock wave back at me rather than forward. Its like it shakes my insides and shit.

Then to the gun store to buy more reloading powder and other shit that i’ll probably forget by the time im there.

Okay, ive wasted enough time. off i go. :(

So I found some ammo for the elusive Five-seveN pistol that I bought a few weeks ago. Should be here tuesday or so.

I got email notification from the 2 online sellers that it was in stock, only to find them out of stock an hour or so later. Fortunally I found a small not-well-known supplier via the FN forums who had some in stock that he was selling. Problem is that its all imported via Belgum, and they cant churn it out faster than we can use it up.

Fiocchi said they will be making some here in the US (figures an Italian would do something smart) but its probably not going to be up and running until end of this month, and first part of 2006.

So I ended up paying about 20 bucks for a box of 50.. I’ve really gotta see about getting a reloading setup going over here so I can reload my own rifle rounds. This paying out the ass for commercial loads has to stop plus I want to make some moderate range .270 rounds for target.

So until the ammo gets here, I have a very impressive looking paperweight for my safe. Lame.
