Making music with telsa coils

Wow. I’ve never seen this before, but its really neat.

Basically if you switch a telsa coil on and off at a specific frequency, it creates lightning that ionizes the air at that frequency. Thereby you can turn telsa coils into gigantic speakers that shoot out lightning that resonates.

Had one of these awesome ideas, just no way for me to implement it.
HoldAlert(tm).
When you are placed on hold, along with any hold music the callee plays a subaudible tone that tells your pbx/handset “hey, i’m on hold!”.
Callee takes you off of hold your handset flashes/chirps saying “TAKEN OF HOLD!”.
Speakerphones dont work in a noisy pharmacy, and most dont have any audio compression so if there is no hold music/its soft you cant hear it anyways.

Remember in Final Fantasy II (or maybe it was the next one) that wierd town named Zozo where it always rained?
Remember how fucked up the music was? Yeah, thats in my brain, on repeat, all fucking day. I even find myself humming it as I work.

Spend the evening with the Port City Roller Girls. Got roped into being a Ref, so I guess I had better learn the rules or something.. was the one who got me into this. So blame her..

Took the old roller hockey skates out of retirement to meet up with PCRG at the local skating arena. Its only been, oh, 10 years since I last wore them. Even found my indoor wheels too! Most of my old Canadian Bacon of America skillz came back once I made a few laps. During the speed skate my front wheel came loose and I almost biffed it into the wall. Skates still fit, wheels still turn (even though I was poor back in 95-96 and my indoor wheels only have ABEC 3′s on them ). We always used to go to the family-skate night during the hockey days. Nothing makes you learn how to be nimble on your skates than dodging kids falling in front of you and crowds of people who dont know whats going on.

What made this night especially fun was it was Christian Music and Church Night. Short of me bursting into flames, seeing a group of tattoo’d up roller derby girls skate around was pretty funny.

Went to the bar afterwards with the girlz.

Met who also happens to have had a DeadJournal since the beginning. She shoots guns and rides motorcycles! Sweet! My parents wont let me have a motorcycle, but I have plenty of guns! Hopefully helping out the PCRG as much as I can. I really want to see them get rolling and I think the enthusiasm is there but the paperwork and details need to be hashed out. Whats good is that I can pretty much do most of the backend of anything they are looking for.

Im in oregon! Yes, I flew in this morning to do some stuff with LJ.. Its not secret stuff, but it was mostly to party..

Im at ‘s ghettofabolus place.. Im sitting on a white plastic chair.. We’re drinking, and that pussy is giving me a bad time because I am taking my time, but he’s only drinken one glass of scotch and working on his glass of rum.. Ive downed 2 of scotch and working on my rum..

is listening to rap music.. They use the word “bitch” and “Niggaz” a lot.. A white boy from ohio listening to gangstah rap.. Go figure!

Ah shit, what do I remember..

Went over to Mountain View with to go out to dinner with and .. Met up with who works for google. Went to this fucking crazy ass sushi place that had pounding techno music, crazy lights, and one employee who’s sole purpose was to get everyone fucking plastered.. In the time we ate, this dude did like 8 saki-bombs.. Beka did 2, I was impressed… Everyone pretty much got pretty bombed..

Then we walked around downtown mountain-view, where we all stopped at boarders to go pee.. I remember going and finding a book on blogging, and running around trying to find brad to show him the whole paragraph about him and LJ in it, and how he’s famous.. Then i remember being pissed that DeadJournal wasnt even mentioned in it.. heh.. I should of bought the book and had brad sign it or something.. Then we watched some movie that was pretty damn good (from what I remember of the first part).. Then beka and I drove home and here I sit..

Blah, party tomorrow, wonder how much i’ll drink there.
